BRANDA JEAN PIERSALL has been an RN for 28 years, primarily in hospice and palliative care. She has certifications in holistic health, nutrition, and spiritual philosophy, and is a certified death doula. She recently completed the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies & Research program, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Transpersonal Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Mentorship. Her love of stories was born at the bedside of those who are dying.

Michelle is a poet and writer, with her first book scheduled for publication this year.
